The UAE's fastest Caterham lives again

A rather large "off" before the winter put pay to this car's season. As the marshals peeled the car out of the barrier of turn 14 at the Dubai Autodrome it became clear that its wasn't going to just "polish out".

The rebuild would certainly not be for the faint hearted but after a few months of waiting a new chassis finally arrived from the Dartford factory and work could begin.

This car has been lovingly prepared and upgraded many times to become the 300bhp + monster that it is today. It was down the GulfSport's workshop manager Gary Francis to do a few last installation laps to ensure the car was fully ready. Which proved a good idea given it showed up a TPS failure, so a spare was rushed from the workshop in DIP, fitted and it ran perfectly.

What do you think?
