GulfSport Racing relocates Racewear and Equipment division to Dubai Autodrome Retail Plaza and opens its new Motorsport Centre in Dubai Investment Park.
GulfSport first opened its doors back in 2006 serving the fledgling motorsport market. The Racewear and Equipment division has gone on to serve thousands of Karting, Rally and Race customers over the MENA and wider region.
Thirteen years and thousands of race suits later GulfSport Racing opens its Racewear and Equipment shop in the Dubai Autodrome Retail Plaza. Moving from the Kojak building to this more prominent location is a very exciting move:
Retail manager & GRC Coordinator Fred Jacobs explained:
“From the front of the shop I can almost reach the pitlane of the Dubai Autodrome. The location is great as you can access us directly from the circuit by way of the foot tunnel that runs under the circuit, or park right at the entrance to Retail Plaza (next to Cycle Hub). We are a five minute walk to kart track also”
It's been a busy summer for the GulfSport Team as they have also moved to their new Motorsport Centre in Dubai Investment Park. Adding to the storage and work bay capacity, this new facility allows for GulfSport to further increase the quality and capacity of the work they do.
Co-Founder Martin Hope added:
“Its been a long time coming, but GulfSport finally have a facility to be very proud of. The quality of our work is our most important asset and the new Motorsport Centre in DIP is just what we need to keep that true. In addition to the race car preparation we do, we can now offer the same high quality, but cost effective service to trackday and fast road customers. We look forward to announcing plans for that soon”
The facility offers fully AC’d storage and work spaces, dedicated fabrication area, clean rooms for engine and gearbox assembly, office and meeting room and dedicated car setup area.
GulfSport will run its Radical Sportscar distributor operation out of the new DIP facility, while administration for the Gulf Radical Cup will be run from the Dubai Autodrome Retail Plaza.
With this expansion of both of our facilities brings some new an exciting offerings, which are soon to be announced.
